The aroma of cinnamon in my house whenever I bake delicious apple pie brings a happy autumn vibe to us. Here I have prepared a precooked filling pie with homemade dough. Nutritional Value The pie has lots of butter and is made of all-purpose flour with sugar in fillings and out. There is nothing healthy about it but, yes when it comes to taste it is a top gun. Anyways, this pie makes 6 big pieces, each around 300k cal. Ingredients 2 Kg apple- Peeled and thinly sliced 1 cup Sugar 1 tbsp- cinnamon powder 1 tsp- ginger powder 2 tbsp- cornstarch 1/2 lemon juice 1 tsp- salt 1 tsp- nutmeg powder Method Take apples of your choice and peel them and slice thinly Now add all the spices, sugar and juice of a lemon and let it sit for half an hour till the juices come out. Banana Bread | Eggless

Here, I have prepared a very delicious egg less banana bread with dark chocolate chunks in it. Easy to make and stays fresh up to 5 days in fridge. Same recipe can also make around 20 muffins for your next picnic or just snack. Nutritional Value Its a calorie packed snack and the calories also depend on the level of sweetness and butter in recipe. here I have limited the sugar content and the clarified butter is low in quantity so my whole bread give around 12 pieces and 230 kcal for one serving. Sweet Raisin Bun

Sweet bun with raisin is very go to snack for kids, just smear butter or jelly and let them have these little doughy cushions. Nutritional Value This is half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and the recipe makes 8 regular size buns, each having 150 calories. Ingredients All Purpose Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Ghee or Butter- 2 tablespoons Sugar : 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast - 1 and 1/2 tea spoons  Egg -1 Milk : 3/4 cup (warm around 110 to 115 F) Salt : 1/4 tsp  Raisins- 1/2 cup Honey - 1/4 cup Method Mix all the ingredients in a food processor and make a dough.   Mix well for 3 minutes in low speed until the dough is soft and spongy to touch and let it proof for 1 hour in an warm place.    Make the dough ball by folding the sides and making a round ball according to the size you need.    Here the recipe makes 8 regular size bun.   Now place the balls in a warm place covered for again 45 minutes till they are double ...

Nutritional Value This is half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and the recipe makes 7 big buns, each having 150 calories. A very light snack for you evening tea, or an easy go to breakfast, scones plays all roles of the food horizons.     Nutritional Value Scones are basically flour and butter combination so, it has carbohydrates, fat and fiber in it. A homemade scones is roughly 280 K cal per piece and it can fluctuate according to the ingredients we add. Ingredients ( Wet) Butter- 1/2 cup cold Milk- 1/2 cup cold (Dry) Flour (half whole wheat and half all purpose)- 1 cup each Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup Sugar- 1/2 cup Salt- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon Powder- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder -1 tsp Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp Instant Coffee - 1/2 tsp Method First mix the dry ingredients together and then mix butter cubes in it. Delicious cheese garlic bread, to calm your quarantine lock down cravings, easy to make and you will be favorite in your family for serving them this home made bread. Nutrition The bread combination is half whole wheat and All purpose (AP) Flour, with lots of cheese and garlic. It is a cheat snack and therefore I will overlook the health benefits. Ingredients For Dough 1 cup whole wheat Flour 1 cup AP Flour (Maida) 1 and 1/2 tsp yeast 5  pods Garlic 1/2 cup warm water 1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp Chili Flakes Salt to taste For Filling 15 pods Garlic 150 gms Mozzarella cheese 1 tbsp oregano 1 tbsp Chilli Flakes 1/2 cup chopped coriander 1/2 cup butter melted Method Mix the dough ingredients in the Bowl or kneading machine and mix everything well, set aside for 1 to 2 hour til the dough rise to double.
