Some veggie potato-patty burgers for your weekend meal, a regular favorite for all and easy to make. Nutritional Value Oh no! this is tough here, as just potato and buns full of carbs, not healthy but yes definitely a cheat meal. Veg Burger | Moong Dal Patty

Homie veg burger with moong dal patty is a healthy option from a normal potato patty and taste absolutely delicious. Nutritional Value Moong dal patty is mix with pulses, potato and oat and each patty here is around 150 Kcal. Ingredients Moon dal- 100gms Chick pea- soaked 50 gms Potato- 1 boiled Oat- 1/4 cup Peanut- 1/4 cup  Onion- 1 diced Garlic- 3 pods Ginger-1/2 inch Coriander leaves- chopped 1/2 cup Salt - 1 tbsp Oil- 1/2 cup to shallow fry Masala Mix 1/2 teaspoons of Corainder powder, Amchur Powder, Cumin powder, Turmeric Powder, Garam Masala Method Soak the moong beans for 4 hours, strain it and blend it with  onion, garlic and soaked chick peas In a pan roast oats and peanuts and then crush them into a fine powder. In a bowl take the mashed boiled potato and mix it with the moong dal paste, oat peanut powder, salt and masala mix. Sweet Raisin Bun

Sweet bun with raisin is very go to snack for kids, just smear butter or jelly and let them have these little doughy cushions. Nutritional Value This is half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and the recipe makes 8 regular size buns, each having 150 calories. Ingredients All Purpose Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Ghee or Butter- 2 tablespoons Sugar : 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast - 1 and 1/2 tea spoons  Egg -1 Milk : 3/4 cup (warm around 110 to 115 F) Salt : 1/4 tsp  Raisins- 1/2 cup Honey - 1/4 cup Method Mix all the ingredients in a food processor and make a dough.   Mix well for 3 minutes in low speed until the dough is soft and spongy to touch and let it proof for 1 hour in an warm place.    Make the dough ball by folding the sides and making a round ball according to the size you need.    Here the recipe makes 8 regular size bun.   Now place the balls in a warm place covered for again 45 minutes till they are double ...

Simple basic buns recipe for burgers or for delicious Pav Bhaji or just toast it and enjoy as breakfast with jelly or peanut butter. Nutritional Value This is half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and the recipe makes 7 big buns, each having 150 calories. Beetroot patty burger, a twist in the regular burger and easy way to hide beets in our kids diet. Nutritional Value The beetroot are a great source of  folate (vitamin B9), fiber manganese, potassium, iron, and vitamin C Ingredients Beetroot- 3 boil and mashed Potato - 2 boil and mashed Onion- 1 chopped small Garlic- 3 cloves (minced) Coriander leaves- a bunch Corn Starch- 2 tbsp Semolina- 1 tbsp APF- 2 tbsp Salt-2 tsp Pepper- 1 tsp Turmeric- 1/2 tsp Green chilies- optional 1/2 cup semolina to coat the patties before frying , bread crumbs can also be used. 1/2 cup oil for shallow frying 4 patties can be made with this amount Method Boil the beetroot and potatoes together and all the ingredients in it with corn starch and all po\urpose flower which will help to bind it together. Now make big patties in almost palm size Now coat the patties in dry semolina and shallow fry in a pan.
