Strawberry Pancake

Seasonal favorite, the gorgeous strawberry pancake for breakfast. A pink twist in regular pancake with honey all over it.   Nutritional value This recipe serves six small pancakes with max 90 calories each. It has whole wheat flour, AFP, egg and milk in it. So the pancakes are packed with protein, magnesium, good fiber and vitamins.   Ingredients Dry 1/2 cup - Whole Wheat flour 1/2 cup -Maida/AFP 3 tablespoon sugar (any kind) 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder A pinch of salt and baking soda   Wet Crushed Strawberry 4 1/2 cup warm milk 1/4 teaspoon- Vanilla Essence 1 Egg 1 tablespoon oil/butter for preparing Method In a bowl mix an egg with warm milk and vanilla essence.   Now add crushed strawberry and mix it and keep it aside. Add all dry ingredients in another bowl (sieve it if you wish) and mix it properly with a whisk. Now slowly whisk the dry ingredient into the wet bowl without making any lumps try to do it gently. Dinner Rolls | Small

Small buns also known as dinner rolls, side rolls, many names are for them and an absolute match for any kind of dish. Nutrition Value  This is all purpose flour and the recipe makes 9 small buns, each having 100 calories. All Purpose Flour- 2 and 1/2 cup Ghee or Butter- 2 tablespoons Sugar : 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast - 2 tea spoons Milk : 3/4 cup (warm around 110 to 115 F) Salt : 1/4 tsp  1 tbsp butter at end to brush the top of buns Method Mix all the ingredients in a food processor and make a dough. Grease the bowl and let it sit in a warm place until it double its size. Punch it back and make small balls and cover it again to rise for half an hour.   They will double in size, then bake at 210 C for 25 minute. Brush the top with butter once they are out of oven.    Enjoy!

Simple basic buns recipe for burgers or for delicious Pav Bhaji or just toast it and enjoy as breakfast with jelly or peanut butter. Nutritional Value This is half whole wheat and half all purpose flour and the recipe makes 7 big buns, each having 150 calories. Ingredients All Purpose Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour- 1 and 1/2 cup Ghee or Butter- 2 tablespoons Sugar : 1 teaspoon Instant Yeast - 1 and 1/2 tea spoons  Egg -1 Milk : 3/4 cup (warm around 110 to 115 F) Salt : 1/4 tsp Method Mix all the ingredients in a food processor and make a dough. Mix well for 3 minutes in low speed until the dough is soft and spongy to touch. Keep it in a warm place for around 1 hour or until the size is double in size. Make the dough ball according to the size you need. Here the recipe makes 7 full size burger and approx 12 dinner rolls can be also made with the same amount of dough. Bagels | Homemade

I say them distant cousin of doughnuts usually, as they lookalike to me. Here, I have made homemade bagels both plain and with sesame seeds around.   Nutrition Value I always use half All Purpose Flour and half Whole Wheat Flour, they are all carbs and fibre , perfect for breakfast. This recipe makes 12 bagels and almost 200 kcal per bagel. Ingredients AFP- 1/2 cup Whole Wheat- 1/2 cup Yeast- 1 and 1/4 tsp Warm water- 1/2 cup Sugar Sesame seeds- 100 gm to roll over the bagel A big pot of boiled water Method Mix flour, yeast and sugar in a dough mixture and add water slowly to form a dough and in a slow speed knead it for 3 minutes. Take it out and let the yeast rise the dough. After an hour the dough will double its size, punch it down to roll it more.
