Fill a big vessel with water (minimum 4 liters) and let the turmeric boil in it for 30 minutes.   Chop the turmeric in small pieces and spread ina sheet , pan evenly. Dry it in direct sun light until they are hard to feel and no moisture is left in it. It will take 5 to 10 days, depending on the sunlight it receives.
