Chole Tikki Chaat | Corn

Here, I have made my favorite chaat which is very famous in Madhya Pradesh, India. The yellow peas chole served with corn and potato tikkis dipped in sweet and sour chutney is a perfect evening snack for rainy days.   Nutritional Value Its main ingredient is Yellow peas and potato which is mix of protein and carb, not a daily diet food, but once in a while use it as a cheat meal. Snacking on Paneer aka Cheese cottage is very common in Indian families get together, party is big or small Paneer Pakoda will always glorify the menu.   Nutritional Value Since it is a deep fried version of Paneer Pakoda, it contains loads of calories, and only suggested for occasional munching. Though, Paneer is full fat with protein in it but still not advisable to eat in large amount. Peanut Burfi | Mithayi

Peanut and Jaggery can definitely do wonders, when blend together in a creamy formation. A very sweet tooth conundrum to save that untimely sweet cravings. Nutritional Value Peanut 1656 kcal Jaggery 640 kcal Around 24 pieces with almost 100 calories in each, 3 gm protein, 1.91 gm carbs Ingredient 2 cups Peanut Roasted 1 cup Jaggery 2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds 1 tbsp Ghee 1/4 cup Water Method Take the peanut and roast them in pan, until the raw smells goes out and they are crunchy. Remove all the skin and crush it coarsely in mixer grinder. Add some roasted sesame seeds and keep aside. Now take a heavy bottom pan/kadahi, and put 1 tbsp ghee in it and then add the Jagery and 1/4 cup water. let the mixture cook until its a single thread syrup. Mango shake

Who doesn't love to endeavor their taste buds with delightful freshness and sweetness of Mango! The summer fruit is everywhere and the one of the best to have it is mix with milk and dry fruits and enjoy chilled drink in this heating summer. Ingredients Mango medium size 2 Milk 1 cup for every two mangoes Dry fruits- Crushed 1/4 cup for two glass Sugar* only if mango is not sweet but i will suggest to avoid it. Method Take  the pulp and mix it with milk and dry fruits, use blender of mixer grinder to blend everything together Serve with a dollop of fresh cream and few mango pieces Enjoy!

Adai Dosa

Adai Dosa comes from the morning menu of southern India. I got this recipe from my Tamilian friend who shared her traditional way of making soft and yummy Adai Dosa.   Nutritional Value The recipe is a mix of rice and lots of pulses which includes lots of protein with carbs. This recipe makes around 12 dosa's. Calories- 100k cal ( per piece) Protein- 15 g approx Carb- 12 g approx Ingredients 1 cup- Dosa rice 1 cup- Normal rice 1/4 cup- ToorDal 1/4 cup- Chana Dal 1/4 cup- Moong Dal 1/4 cup-  Urad Dal 1/2 cup - Grated  fresh coconut  5 - Red Chilies (soaked in water and mad into paste) Salt to taste Few curry leaves Few Coriander leaves Method Soak the rice and all pulses overnight  grind them in regular Dosa batter and keep it for outside for fermentation for 3 to 4 hours.
