Tomato- 1 medium size

Ginger small 1 inch, garlic- 4 pods and some mint and coriander leaves

Green Chutney

Sweet Tamarind chutney

 Method

To make tikki we will first boil and peel the potatoes and mix all ingredient together.

Now make a flat shape tikki and arrange it, I have added semolina here to give shapes to the tikkis.

Now add oil to a heavy pan and shallow fry them till they are golden brown and have crispy skin on outside.

Keep them aside and now we have to prepare chole.

In a pressure cooker cook the overnight soaked yellow peas for three whistle or untill they are tender.

Now take wok/kadahi add oil to it and add bay leaf and cinnamon stick. Then add chopped onion and fry them until they are translucent.

Now add all the spices and fry for a minute.

Now add the tomato, ginger, garlic, mint and coriander leaves puree to it and fry it until the oil oozes out from the mixture.

Mix the boiled peas and cook them all together covered for 10 minutes.

Assemble them in a plate, first plate the tikki and then add yellow peas chole and green and red chutney plus a few golgappa pieces to crush over it, at last add some panipuri water if you like for taste, add some pomegranate seed if you wish.

 Enjoy!
