Bagels | Homemade

I say them distant cousin of doughnuts usually, as they lookalike to me. Here, I have made homemade bagels both plain and with sesame seeds around.   Nutrition Value I always use half All Purpose Flour and half Whole Wheat Flour, they are all carbs and fibre , perfect for breakfast. This recipe makes 12 bagels and almost 200 kcal per bagel. Ingredients AFP- 1/2 cup Whole Wheat- 1/2 cup Yeast- 1 and 1/4 tsp Warm water- 1/2 cup Sugar Sesame seeds- 100 gm to roll over the bagel A big pot of boiled water Method Mix flour, yeast and sugar in a dough mixture and add water slowly to form a dough and in a slow speed knead it for 3 minutes. Take it out and let the yeast rise the dough. After an hour the dough will double its size, punch it down to roll it more. Pineapple Chicken Gravy

A little sweet twist to our traditional Chinese chicken with gravy, here I have added pineapple chunks, juice and little bit of brown sugar to get that tropical sweetness to the plate.    Nutritional Value A well combined dish with vegetables and chicken and fruit, which serves 3 with inputs of Vitamin C, A, Calcium and Iron Chicken- 440 kcal Veggies-200 k cal Total calories will be around 300 k cal per person adding the process of cooking. Bread Pakora

Stuffed and deep fried bread to fix occasional fried food cravings, very tasty, goes well with kids for snacks. It a popular street food of India, and served usually as snacks. Nutritional Value Healthy is a far away word for bread pakora. basically the bread stuffed with any stuffing of your choice, and then covered with gram flour paste and then deep or shallow fried. Bread- 160 kcal Filling- 100 kcal Gram Flour - 50 kcal Almost 250 to 280 per piece calorie and total 8 pakoras will be prepared. Ingredients  Bread- 8 slices For Fillings Potato- 4 medium boiles Onion- 1/2 Spices- all spices and salt Coriander leaves- few For Paste Gram Flour- 1/2 cup Water- 1/2 cup Salt- 1 tsp Cumin- 1 tsp Pepper- 1 tsp Method Boil and mash potato almost 1 cup after mashing. Chicken Mushroom Pasta

Chicken Mushroom Pasta with white sauce, easy dinner time fix for any day. Here, I have used boneless chicken breast and penne pasta for the recipe. Nutrition Value Its a perfect mix of carbohydrates and protein and gives a very balance diet. Ingredients Chicken Breast- 250 gms Pasta (any)- 250 gms, cooked as per packet instruction. Mushroom- 250 gms Onion- one small Garlic- 2 cloves Salt and pepper as per taste Oil- 2 teaspoon White Sauce 1/2 cup milk 150 gms cheese (any) Salt, Pepper Butter- 1 tbsp Method Flatten the chicken breast and cook it in a pan with little butter. Cinnamon rolls made of wheat flour, my personal favorite for grab and go breakfast. Well, it taste good with evening coffee too. Nutritional Value Made of whole wheat flour and yeast, this whole wheat homemade bun can be made with the level of sweetness one desire's. Ingredients Whole Wheat Flour- 4 cups Yeast- 2 tbsp Milk- 1/2 cup Water to knead To fill rolls Butter- 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder- 2 tbsp Sugar- 1/2 cup Method Warm the milk just in between 106 to 115 C and mix yeat in eat with little sugar. Let the yeast foam up for 10 minutes Mix the flour with the yeast and knead it very well ,a round ten to fifteen minutes, if the dough feels tight add 1 tsp of water at a time, and knead the dough utill it sponge back on toucjing.
