Bread Pakora

Stuffed and deep fried bread to fix occasional fried food cravings, very tasty, goes well with kids for snacks. It a popular street food of India, and served usually as snacks.

Nutritional Value
Healthy is a far away word for bread pakora. basically the bread stuffed with any stuffing of your choice, and then covered with gram flour paste and then deep or shallow fried.
Bread- 160 kcal
Filling- 100 kcal
Gram Flour - 50 kcal

Almost 250 to 280 per piece calorie and total 8 pakoras will be prepared.

Ingredients 
Bread- 8 slices

For Fillings
Potato- 4 medium boiles
Onion- 1/2
Spices- all spices and salt
Coriander leaves- few

For Paste
Gram Flour- 1/2 cup
Water- 1/2 cup
Salt- 1 tsp
Cumin- 1 tsp
Pepper- 1 tsp

Method
Boil and mash potato almost 1 cup after mashing. Take a small pan, add 1 tsp of oil and onion, chili and ginger to it and fry them, add the mashed potato and spices and coriander to it.
Mix all the ingredients of paste and keep it aside.

Take bread and spread and sauce of your choice on them.
Spread the potato filling evenly and cover it with other slice.

 Prepare all eight breads like that and then cut them in half and keep aside.
Heat the oil in the pan, and dip the breads in the gram flour paste one by one and then into the pan.


Her i have not done deep frying, so to cook it nice and crispy from all sides, i have to toss and turn to all sides to cook it thoroughly.

Serve it hot with favorite chutney or sauce and have a cold glass of juice to gulp it down.
