Crunchy Corn | Savory Pancakes

This is a Garhwali side dish called 'Patudee', we usually make with lunch as the crunch from them add extra flavour to the food.

Nutritional Value

Made up of corn seeds and some flavorful ingredients , these pancakes are very healthy and light in calories

Ingredients

Corn seeds: 1 cup

Onion- medium

Garlic pods- 3

Ginger- 1/2 inch

Salt- 2 tsp

Turmeric Powder- 1/2 tsp

1/4 cup- Corn (Besan) flour

Ajwainn (Carom) seeds: 1/2 tsp

Corainder leaves- 1/4 cup chopped

water- 1/2 cup (accordingly)

Oil- 2 tbsp ( for 6 pancakes)

Method

Take the seeds out of the cob and add onion, garlic and ginger to it and make a coarse paste of it.

Now add flour, salt, ajwain seeds, coriander leaves, turmeric powder to it, and add 1/2 cup of water gradually to make a pour-able paste.

Now heat a heavy pan, and some oil in it and then add a ladle full of mix in the center and spread in the pan, cook on both sides by flipping every two minutes or untill the brown spots are seen and sides cook crunchy enough.

Eat it with some chutney or serve it as a side.
