Pumpkin Bread

A very delicious bread made with homemade pumpkin puree, perfect for your tea time or odd times sweet cravings.

Nutritional Value

Its a calorie packed snack and the calories also depend on the level of sweetness and butter in recipe. here I have limited the sugar content and the clarified butter is low in quantity so my whole bread give around 12 pieces and 230 kcal for one serving.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

All purpose flour/Maida- 1 cup

Whole Wheat- 1 cup

Baking Powder- 1 tsp 

Baking soda- 1/4 tsp

Salt- 1/4 tsp

Cinnamon Powder- 1/2 tsp

Nutmeg- - 1/2 tsp

Ginger Powder- - 1/2 tsp

Instant Coffee- - 1/2 tsp

Sugar/Jaggery- 3/4 cup  

Wet Ingredient 

Pumpkin Puree- 1 and 1/2 cup

Ghee/ Clarified Butter- 3 tbsp

Vanilla essence- 1/4 tsp

Milk- 1/2 cup (adjustable)

Method

In a bowl first mix all the wet ingredient together and then add the dry items to it.



 Now add the dry ingredients and mix them thoroughly.

Add into the baking tin.

Bake for 200 C for around 45 minutes keep rotating in every 15 minutes for evenly cooking.
